The 30th edition of the Exground Film Festival in Germany has scheduled to screen Iranian short ‘It Rains Slowly’.
The film, directed by Saeed Nejati, is the first joint product of the Qom Youth Cinema Society and the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality from Turkey.
Produced in Turkey, ‘It Rains Slowly’ tells the story of some school students in the 1980s who intended to help their teacher.
This edition of the German festival will also screen 7 other Iranian short titles, including ‘Sleepwalker’ by Behnam Afiat, ‘Stone’ By Behrang Dezfoulizadeh, ‘From Hasakah with Love’ by Mohammad Farahani, ‘The Man Who Forgot to Breathe’ by Saman Hosseinpour, ‘99999999’ by Karim Azimi and ‘Snail’ by Mohammad Tourivarian.
Moreover, Iran’s ‘Disappearance’ directed by Ali Asgari will go on screen at the festival's competition section for feature films.
Exground Film Festival is among Germany’s most significant festivals for worldwide independent productions and an important meeting place for journalists, specialized visitors, and guests from the film industry.
The 30th edition of Exground Film Festival is slated for November 17-26, 2017, in Wiesbaden, Germany.
